About the Speaker: Sharon Jenman
Sharon Jenman is Head of Knowledge, London at Skadden, delivering an integrated knowledge management strategy in the UK and Europe. She is particularly interested in fostering a knowledge-sharing culture and promoting tech adoption. Sharon practised as a corporate finance lawyer at a large City practice before becoming a knowledge professional in 2000. Prior to joining Skadden in 2022, Sharon headed up the Public Companies and Markets teams at FromCounsel, and spent 15 years at another large City firm as a senior knowledge lawyer specialising in public company advisory work and mergers & acquisitions. Sharon is pro bono company law and corporate governance adviser to Prime Commitment – a charity promoting social mobility in the legal sector.
About the Speaker: Julian Goering
Julian Goering is a private equity associate sitting in the Skadden London office. Julian advises private equity institutions and private investors on a wide range of transactions, including private acquisitions, carve-outs, consortium deals, group restructurings and general corporate matters. Julian regularly counsels investors’ portfolio companies on bolt-on acquisitions and disposals, restructurings, management incentive schemes and other commercial matters, as well as a variety of clients on the execution of exit planning and co-investment terms. Last year Julian presented on contract clauses and M&A to founders of social enterprises through a Hatch legal clinic.
